I wish I could take credit for this idea, but I can't. It's actually from the sketchbook section on the Banksy website. It's one of those things that just makes me smile and think: so true. It's been my desktop picture for some time.

Oh crap, I'll be thinking about that all day now, my brain all ready hurts.
You're way too young to remember Brian Eno's "Oblique Strategies".
They were a series of cards, each containing a somewhat ambiguous rule for living (look 'em up on the web).
The idea is that you take a card each day and apply that strategy to your life.
My favourite was similar to Banksy's: it was "Everything Can Be Improved By Backing Vocals".
It's one that I live by.
I like it, dive. Except when the backing vocals are shite, of course.
