How the hell did THAT happen?
Not knowing much about european culture, my conversation at breakfast this morning...
So the Dutch are Clogs and Windmills, right?
and my mother says: Yeah, the clogs were because it was so wet but the they put in all the dykes.
Yes, I do know what she's talking about. But it's fun to take it the wrong way.
My inner European is French, too:
Smart and sophisticated.
You have the best of everything - at least, *you* think so.
Dive, let's face it. We're smart, and we have good taste.
I think I'm supposed to be so laid back that I don't care if I'm smart or have good taste (though I do anyway).
