Internet helps. Going for a ride somewhere and taking photos. Photography always helps me with the doldrums. And then what Dive said is always a good way to start or finish a day.
Make stuff. Get creative in a tactile way... with whatever it may be.. food, left over junk, cheap material, online albums (one day you may print them!) make stuff. Before you know it the hours have slipped away and you have done something and will quite often surprise yourself.
Begin a mental list who could be placed in the currently being drilled hole. Begin with personally known people - ex's, bosses, neighbors ect. Then imagine the conversation of these people all piled together.
Move onto unknown but famous people, writers, pollies, entire casts of TV shows.
Good luck with improving the mind via the mobile.

I'm an All-Purpose Groover. A laid-back guitarist, bassist and teacher. A percussionist. I'm an ecletic mix of interests that occasionally combine into a coherent thought process. Unless I have a hangover.
